you can ssh into your iphone 3g (ssh root@youriPhonesIp; password: alpine), i would suggest changing the password of your ssh if it’s still “alpine” (‘passwd’ inside terminal). Then you can use two simple commands: “respring” or “killall SpringBoard”.

Actually, you could as easily SSH in (since you need OpenSSH anyway, you can probably send a command with winSCP/cyberduck/puTTY), and issue killall SpringBoard. Might be faster than rebooting, but that’s a detail.

Cydia and Rock make mention of a Version 1.1 and even show an image of iNoRotate with an iPod rotation control. The problem is, Cydia and Rock only have version 1.0 avaiable for download (which doesn’t have the iPod control. The only thing I care to disable is the iPod rotation (actually, I’d like the rotate and really just want to disable CoverFlow!!). Anyway, when is that version 1.1 going to be a on Cydia/Rock so I can turn off ONLY the iPod rotation? This a great app by the way. I’d love for someone to figure out how to disable CoverFlow, but keep the rotation in Playlist view.
